The painting of Oberleutnant Franz von Werra's Messerschmitt ME109E-4 (1480) sitting in a field in Marden, Kent. von Werra later became the only Battle of Britain captured pilot to ecape and fly again. All of his attempted escapes were dramatised in the 1957 film 'The One That Got Away'.
