Following a collision with Pilot-Officer Stephenson of 607 Squadron. The dent on the left-hand-side of the leading edge wing slat (in the centre of the picture) shows the damage caused by Pilot Officer Stephenson ramming the port wing. There are still bits of Pilot Officer Stephenson's propeller wedged in this wing slat.

Bottom: Items from Hurricane P3536, 17 Squadron, Debden, flown by Pilot Office Jack Ross. He was shot down by the Rochester Anti-Aircraft Battery, he bailed out and was wounded and was admitted to Gravesend Hospital. I retrieved these items from the river Medway at Wouldham, Kent in 1990.
